Default how do i know what kind of RS*R exhaust i have?

well i have an RSR exhaust on my 91 hatch, and it seems to be a FULL system from header back. and ive seen the ex-mag systems have a polished tip and black muffler. mine doesnt look like that. my muffler and tip are chrome and pipes are all stainless. does anyone know what model this is? and how it will sound with a b16? any experiences? and how good is an RSR exhaust? is there anything to compare it with?

thanks for any input.

OP, the RSR is a great exhaust system IMO. Maybe post pics if you can, that would probably help narrow it down.

As far as I know, RS*R has two different cat back exhaust systems:

Ex-mag:

Ex-Mag GT II:

I guess look at your tip?

it sounds good? as in almost as quiet as stock? Ex-Mag is said to be as quiet as stock, not as loud as the majority of after market cat-back systems.

The GTII is said to be much louder. Just get some pics up and you'll get a better answer.

they made ones specially for the EF hatches and 88-91 CRXs, which both look like this and come in stainless or in black.

They also used to offer a dual tip which I believe was the first generation. My Exmag is black and my friends is stainless, both are the same style and sound
