Correct me if I am wrong, but I’m pretty sure that all Sri work basically the same. Sure some claim they add more hp then that next. But none of which go beyond single digit hp gains.

There was a Reactive Intake on my 5th Gen when I bought it and it seemed to work fine. It had a nice little growl as well. I did have a problem with the filter rusting (I believe it was a Crappy Tire one). My passenger side fender well was missing which could have explained the rust, but that’s another story.

I can't really help you on the filter to use, but it really up to weather or not you want the Ractive SRI. The performance gain will be pretty much unnoticeable in my mind.

As for installation this link should help a little, there wasn’t one for 6th gens on this site. But it should be basically the same install.

RActive is part of the Toucan Industries. Look it up. They are mostly like APC. But a little better. If you are getting a Ractive intake, get a new filter. Thats just my opinion. I think the filters they give are just too cheap.

The breather hooks up to part of the intake. There is always a little tube sticking out of the intake tube. Thats where it hooks up.

It's pretty easy on the 6th gen V6. But I suggest going for AEM intakes. I heard they are cheap on eBay. For used ones.......

Ive been running the Ractive set up since around Jan. My cold air set up was for a 92-95 civic. I just cut like a 1/2 to an inch off to make it fit by the battery. Combined with me Megan header and Exhauset it works great. sounds awesome when i stomp on it also. Need pics let me know.

Dont mind the ugly colors. I only rock it because the cold air and plug wires costed me brand new $30. Tight fit near the batt. Remember the cold air was for a 92-95 civic. I trimmed the piping about a 1/2 inch or so.

If you wanted to, you could do something like what I did. Although that may not be a good idea, because people seem to hate me for what I made. Nonetheless here is what my car is breathing with:

ohh yeah, ignore the canard, that was on my old bumper, dont worry its gone. and yes I realize it was a stupid idea.

and yes, the intake forces air through the filter. im ghetto, I make my own parts FTL

lol, not trying to down on you for making your own shyt, cuz home fabrication is always fun, but did you seriously think that little bit of surface area on those 'canards' was going to make any dfference in your aero? you should re-take high school physics

IMO sucking in air that has been heated by the engine is not going to help performance as much as a cold air intake will.

huh? i think your thinking about that lil scoop on the bottom of his car, im talking about the L shaped pieces of sheet metal on his bumper. exactly how you think its going to direct air to the brakes i have no idea. i suppose you can think it will direct air to it when the wheel is turned, but no, it doesnt work like that...

Uhh, ya think? That was a very thought-out "IMO."

Notice the sarcasm.
