lol..you serious? the N1 is that loud? ive heard the from one other guy that has an R by me, he has the mugen twin loop. i mean money isnt going to be an issue, i want the best for the car so even if it means spendin more and waitin longer to do it, ill make that sacrafice. but yeah, how much does an sms header go for? and in you guys opinion, wats a good exhaust to compliment the header for both power/torque/ and sound?

N1's are among some of the loudest exhausts you can get

I have an Invidia N1 exhaust and it sounds nice. I get a lot of compliments for how not ricey it sounds. Its not deafeningly loud, but people will know you are coming!

SMS header will run you at least $1000, I think theres a used one for sale for that price right now. I have a Toda header and I am waiting for my T1R exhaust to come in, so I'm not sure how loud it will be, but you can check for sound clips on utube. Apexi N1 is very loud and so are Buddy club exhausts, keep in mind when you are looking that you'll want an exhaust that is at least 2.5" or 63mm if you are buying an SMSP header or Hytech or Toda if you want the most power out of it

Cruise on up to Holando and I'll show ya the Mugen TL and it's sound, then the SMSP and "custom" exhaust and it's sound. I think you'll like the TL.

SMS-P ITR header, SMS-P 2.5" exhaust... Doesn't get any better than that.

... For about $1,500.

Well worth it though. That setup would pretty much support anything you choose to do (All motor wise).

My current setup is as follows:

-TODA header
-Omnipower 2.25" testpipe
-DC Sports 2.38" exhaust

It sounds absolutely awesome. I love it. Unfortunately, more power is hiding in slightly larger piping, so I'm "scraping" the exhaust and testpipe for an SMS-P 2.5" exhaust setup.

Here are two videos of my car, one on the dyno, the other is in car:

Dyno (It's "farting" into VTEC due to it being rich).

In car down the track.

I have JDM 4-1 header and Apexi WS. It is not loud until you hit 5k. Then it jusst growls...Cops never give me any crap. I have a JDM ITR swap in ...LS...

I have a 2.5" cat to hooked. The WS is 2.36 diameter...
