i have a 94 honda accord 5speed and for some reason it wont let me put it in rev gear .....wat could it be????

 

i had the same problem but it was all gears. try pumping the clutch a few times before you put it in gear. i think it might be the master/slave cylinder.

 

Rev only, I vote for a bad (thin) clutch, how far down do you have to push the clutch pedal to get into a fwd gear, how far off of the floor before the clutch engages and you can drive away in 1st, getting near the top end of travel??

 

yea the clutch feels like its comes up pretty high before it engages

 

Does the 94 still have the hydrolic clutch?

If so, check your clutch fluid. It uses brake fluid and the reservoir looks like a small brake fluid reservoir.

 

mine does this sumtimes... but when it does this it doesnt wanna go into first so I throw it in 2nd n rev it up a little n let off the clutch jus a little pull it out of 2nd n throw it in rev or 1st depending on what gear Im trying to get it into..

dunno if that made since at all but I tried...

 

Sounds like both of your guys need a clutch kit.
