Default russel brake lines

Im painting my engine bayon my 95 civic hatchback, and was wondering if anybody here has used russel brake line kit? Is it better than factory? What you rate it 1-10? and does anybody have pics of their setup? I tried search already.
Thanks for all who respond with their input.

Is it just the rubber line replacement with SS? Any SS lines will give you a great feel to it. I know ours gives a great feel with the coating. It really depends on what company and customer service you like best.

I believe I got those (steel braided?) 2 years ago in my 92 DX hatch. I got them because I ran over some crap on the freeway and cut my OEM brake line.
I think it did make a little difference, now the brake pedal feels a little firmer, but it still does not compensate for having drums in the back and tiny rotors up front, lol.

PS> I ordered mine from sportcompactonly.com. I ordered Stillen brand. After not receiving anything for a couple weeks I complained to them and they said its out of stock and theyre waiting on some warehouse. Almost a month later I received the lines, but from different brand, dont remember if it was Earls or Russel, but definitely not what I ordered. I dont think it makes any difference, though, steel braided is steel braided, right?

Its just a clear (silver? chrome?) steel-braided line.
I will take a picture of it and post it today or tomorrow.

Do they even make kits from the booster? Seems like the pedal would be way too stiff.

We could make you a kit to turn all hardlines into SS if your interested. I personally wouldnt recommend it for daily driving though.

I just took some pictures without taking the wheel off. You can find them at the bottom of this galleryHERE

They been on the car for over a year already, so theyre a bit dirty, no shine here, sorry.
I will take better pics when I will take a wheel off

Whats wrong with having SS lines for daily driving?
And where are you located in "cali?" Around LA metro area by any chance?

When I seen the kit online I thought it was going to be replacing those lines attached to the firewall and praportiong valve. IS their a stainless kit that replaces those ones?

I dont think anything is wrong with having braided lines as long as it it just the replacement of the section at the wheel. I have always heard you want the lines to expand a little under braking but braided lines tighten it up a little.

You could do it for daily but its just alot of pressure for what you really need. Hardlines are good just with what they are, Stainless steel coated will give you a stiffer pedal, great for track cars.

We are located in LA area.

We can make custom lines that replace all your hardlines for stainless coated but those kits are not cheap. Its better to stay hardline unless you want to relocate the prop.
