Front Right Wheel Spinning
Hey everyone,
I'm probably paranoid but i'd like to hear what everyone has to say.
I just finished putting my B18C engine in my 90 CRX and i used the 90-93 int shaft and axles... now today a few of my buddies and I started her up. I heard some noises comming from the right front tire and made me wonder. Turns out that my wheel was spinning even though the car was in neutral. Opps forgot to mention the car is jacked up from the front so the wheels are off the ground and everything.
My concern is not the noise (because i know i need an alignment and stuff) but as to why is my wheel spinning? Is that suppose to happen?
The tranny i'm using is the ITR tranny (S80) with LSD. Do all manual cars do this? Or at least those with S80 tranny's?
Thanks

Put it on the ground and see what happens.....ive seen some in the air in neutral spin, and some don't, and they were all fine.......
so.......
Even if you are hearing noises, that does not have ANYTHING to do with your alignment if its in the air. If the noises are coming from your tranny, then..

So you guys have seen both... ok.. i'll throw it on the ground later and have a look.
I think it's either my alignment or the balancing of the wheels because only one certain area or position that my wheel is in whill it rub against something. More than likely it's the caliper but i'm not sure. I'll rip off the tire and see where it was rubbing.
Thanks for your inputs guys. I was really kinda scared when my wheel was just turning out of nowhere, since i've never seen that happen before.
