New Here, My car, HI everyone
Hey all, this here is my lil car, started out as a bone stock 2000 LX 5 speed, as you can tell its not exactly stock right now, full cold air intake,lowered,magnaflow exaust,short shifter, the list goes on. she has 200 000km on it and still running strong, does it look like it has that many kms? pretty nice car and its the only one i know of around here thats a 4dr and looks nice, i think id rather have this over a 2 dr anyday.
Many mods to come as i have another post on here already. just thought id say hi and thanks for all the help so far!
Can you tell it has a CF hood?

I like it. I was thinking about using that paint on my tails. I cant remember where i saw it but i remember it was transparent black. I think it was actually called tint or something cuz it still lets the lights shine through. One suggestion, when you snap pics of the car use a little lower camera angle and the car will look better in the shot.

Looks pretty clean. I lik 4 doors more and more.
Get rid of that pin stripe as well. A new color would be better, but i understand the paintjob would not be the 1st thing on the list.

its not paint..lol its a thick film made by 3M, that clear stuff you use on your hood, fenders,lights etc... BUT its tinted black, stuff isnt cheap but is guranteed not to peel, fade etc for life, helps when you know the installer really well came straight to my work and tinted them for me.
Pin stripe- YES it will go trust me just paint like you said isnt the first thing on my list.
Lip kits- well im staring at them, haha, there on my kitchen table front and rear, fronts a Mugen style and rears a Type R style, there ready for paint.
Grille- trust me i TOTALLY agree just waiten for it to get in !!
Engine- WELL here it goes, i have 2 to choose from already, i already bought a VTEC head for mine as i was going to do a mini-me swap with an SI tranny, with some new pistons and rods, block guard etc. BUT.....
I found from a buddy a full d15 built block, pistons,rods,blockguard,balanced, turbo...etc.. and i was going to throw on the vtec head and si tranny and convert it to obd2 which wasnt going to be very hard, helps when my job is mechanics......OR
I also found a friend that is selling a B18C5 with tranny and ECU for 800$ has 200 000km on it but ran fine when pulled and id tear it down and rebuild it, turbo it and slap it in. I CANNOT DECIDE WHAT TO DO, at one time i dont wanna be like everyone else and at the same id love to have the B18C5 then again i just want something thats funner to drive and take people off the line and make them respect 4 doors a lil more then they already are.! its a goal i tell ya haha.
any more questions just ask im more then happy to answer them!
