Default 99 Accord will not start

Hey guys, I am new to the forum and I need some help. I have a 99 Accord with a manual transmission and when I try to start it nothing happens no clicking and no dimming of lights. I have checked the connections on the battery and they're tight. I'm thinking it could be the switch associated with the clutch pedal. Unfortunately, I don't know where it's located. Could someone help with this or offer other suggestions?

That's true, it could be the clutch switch. I have a '94 Accord, so I don't know how different my setup is from your '99 Accord. But on mine, you would just look at the top of the pedal, sticking your head where your feet normally go. There is a switch there with 2 pins. There should be no continuity between them with the clutch release, and continuity with the clutch depressed. Check for continuity with the clutch pedal pushed in. If there is none, then adjust it or replace it. If there is continuity with the clutch pedal pushed in, then you have some other problem.

To check for continuity, turn the key to the run position, push the clutch pedal in, and put a voltmeter's probes one on each wire. If there is voltage, then you have continuity.

I have a 94 Accord w/ manual trans that has similar symptoms. No start, no solenoid click, battery and connections good, fuses look good, starter passed Autozone tester.

I found that the little plastic pad connected to the clutch pedal that pushes the clutch pedal switch plunger in had broken off so I replaced it but it didn't help.

How can I test the clutch pedal switch without a volt meter? It seems a big coincidence that it would be the ignition switch or starter relay since the little pad on the clutch pedal just broke off. Is that a good assessment?
