Ground Control Bilstein
Does the Ground Control-Bilstein Sport application use an adapter like the one for Koni, but a different size? Or are they specific sleeves. I've found threads that indicate there are Koni specific GC sleeves, and also ones that require an adapter ring. Would appreciate some clarification.

There used to be Bilstein adapters. I'm not sure if they're making Bilstein-specific sleeves as they started doing for Konis.
Give Ground Control a call and ask them: http://www.ground-control-store.com or 530-677-8600 M-F 9-5 PST

Thanks for your reply. I called them up a few days ago and the guy I talked to tried to look stuff up, but he seemed like he had no idea what I was talking. The person I plan on buying GC's from says his Koni specific sleeves are the ones with adapter rings. Apparently, GC sent his the universal ones the first time by mistake, but they did not have adapters. Does this sound right?

The newer Koni-specific GC sleeves do not have adapter rings. They are made to match the Koni outside shock body diameter and sit on the Koni snap ring (instead of the OE-style spring perch). That's about all I know.
Can someone post a picture or describe how GC sleeves sit on Bilstein shocks. I test fitted the GC's I'll be buying, tonight, and the sleeve didn't sit on the perch where a spring would sit. Rather, it sat on the raised part of the perch hugging the shock body. Does this sound correct?

That sounds about right. The sleeve should be fairly close to "hugging" the shock body.
