How hard to install y8 intake mani in a y8
I got an automatic y8 intake mani to go in my y7 engine. I noticed 2 hoses that dont really match anywhere from my engine to the mani. They just dont seem to go anywhere in the y8 mani. Anyone know about changing these manifolds??
Also some pic instructions would be super helpful.

No he won't, it's fine either way - the Y7 just has a IACV to TB setup like the Y8 auto, not the Y8 manual. Putting a manual Y8 on is a pain in the *** - gotta weld up the old IACV holes 'n ****.

Oh the pains i have had in my *** over the y7/y8 issues...
Using a Y7 tb on a y8 Auto manifold should work just fine.

I got y8 everything, fuel rail, injectors, throttle body, everything but just two hoses dont match on my y8 though from the y7. ( I got auto y8 mani going into y7 auto engine.) Will I encounter any problems with this mani swap? any other things to worry about??

why would you weld the old iacv holes? I left the iacv on the back of the manifold and it does just fine...plus if you weld them up, and decide to go obd1 or do a mini-me, you're going to need a new manifold
OP: make sure you get all the old gasket off the head and manifold, mark the tps/map sensor plugs because they use the same type of plug and you should be fine. Also dont forget to get some coolant because youre going to lose some..
