Default Homemade traction bars

Does anyone have pictures of homemade traction devices. I'm going to race my crx and I don't plan on buying a traction bar if I can make one myself.

matt, i would just buy one. A hell of a lot easier, and cheaper. (i figure supplies plus the cost of time = cheaper, more reliable, better fitment, and a warrenty possibly)

^^^ that doesnt look much of a traction bar. front crossmember, yes, but i think that design would stink for a race car.

dont know of any race cars running that as of today. i'd pass on it, especially due to the price.

if you need room, that's understandable, but if you need a real traction bar, get something else.

i sold a stock cross member yesterday for $50. does the same thing.

the bar you posted is NOT a traction bar. their website calls it a 'replacement crossmember'

i dont recall asking what you paid for yours, when the website you posted sells them for $261.99

it's not a full on "traction bar". that is what the OP asked about. not what you have.

get lost.

OP unless you are a great welder, with great materials, and a great amount of time it is much easier, convenient, and less time consuming to purchase one.

i'd trust the stock crossmember on a race car over that innovative piece.

no it provides extra clearence for headers and boosted setups etc....the energy bushings in it help slightly with wheel hop but whatever...i paid $10 for the ones in my stock crossmember

I have the innovative crossmember, and it has nothing to do with traction control, its to fit a decent header/ 3+ inch dp without hacking the stock crossmember.

Go sit on a cucumber before coming in here trying to argue with anyone douche canoe.
