Intake Manifold..... Which one?
I bought an 89 Civic DX over the weekend and I'm wanting to do a quick MPFI swap. Will a 97 Civic EX intake manifold bolt to the D15B2 motor and if so, then will the ports line up? I have a friend with one that he'll give me for almost nothing if it will work. I have a resistor box and I can get some non-OBD Si injectors, Si ecu and distributor to use to complete the swap. I haven't messed around with many sohc part swaps since I tend to yank the motor out quickly after I buy the car
I'm going to keep this motor for a while so I thought a MPFI swap then maybe a mini-me would work for now.

You're gonna need it for the vtec head anyways right? I know that 88-00 D16A-Z will fit each other, I'm not 100% sure they'll fit D15, it shouldn't take that long to find out though... you can reuse the gasket as long as you're careful.
PS. I've got a complete D16Z6 head with low miles on it for 150$ shipped

Actually I was just giving it some thought and I don't see why it wouldn't fit. I remember seeing a few people with mini-me's who used the DPFI intake on them.
Does it still have the throttle body, injectors and misc. sensors attached or is it just a bare manifold? I would be interested if it's complete. I might be interested in the VTEC head too, I just need to decide which way I want to go with this project. Send me an email and let me know the specifics on the head and the ZC manifold.
