what's your budget? if you can afford it, i'd say go with a k series. not to say that the h2b is a bad choice, cause there's a ton of aftermarket support, but those k's are just wicked fast stock.
oh, and of course the et times depend alot on your drivin skizzles, but i've seen a k24 OEM bottom with an OEM k20a head basically stock minus i/e/h in an eg run mid 12's all day long on slicks. can't say about street tires, though.

I've seen an 81x89mm lsvtec motor with all OEM parts except for cams/valvetrain and header run a 12.7@108 in a 100% bone stock crx.
<---------------------------Just ask this guy.

i love my ls-v's but if i had to choose id say h,a stock h in a light car with slicks will run 12's for half the price of of a k

my full interior minus spare tire dc went 13.2 on i\e h22 so 12's in an eg is highly feasible, then again so will a k20 eg, its all boils down to how much money u got to spend and what ur goals are

they are both good options.
and if its an all out drag car, chances are the costs would be around the same anyway for a built H or a built K motor.

my h2b with just boltons makes 195hp to the tires.... to compare we dyno'd an 05 RSX with an intake, header, highflow cat, exhaust and a hondata reflash, it made 195hp, both motors had a very similar power curve, my h22 has slightly more tq
so on a tight budget.. h2b is good.. both swaps are alot of work.
i have about 6000 in my whole car (99 civic SI with h2b), you can hardly get an k20a full swap for that

if its a street car or weekend warrior h all the way. if your dead serious about track racing and want every last hp possible the k has more potential, but its gonna come with a price

waste of money.
waste of money.
get a 98+ h22a4 and stroke it with a 97mm f23 crank with i/h/e and a B tranny 250hp + easy. Ive made it happen . Also I'm working on a new engine build with a oem 99mm crank from ? (info not released yet) in a f series engine since the single cam can take more lift and duration.. 2.4L f2b soon to come .. btw. k series (Baaaaaaaaaaallin) J/K
