Default Crank position code 54 (need help with Cal ref)

ok i have a 97 civic ex with a 01 gsr swap, im throwing code 54

my problem is the civic harness has 2 wires and the gsr has 3 for this sensor, what do i do? is this the problem or is it something else?

The car runs fine, but I need to fix this in order to ref the swap.

thanks in advance for your help

cut/solder/splice the two matching wires and tape the third up or find a b series crank position sensor connector and depin the two wires that match the harness and put them in the b bseries connector... so they're both 2 wire connectors... and tape the third wire to the harness... there is a post of this is the faq i think... ill try to find a link

heres a link to ff-squad.. it has more than enough information to help you with the crank sensor..
http://technet.ff-squad.com/
i got bored.. so i helped some more...

no pictures of the connector.. but its the information you need...

either way will work.. i prefer doing it correctly.. and swap the connector at the sensor on the pump.. but they'd both work..
