Default crx headlight question

Ok I was wondering if crx headlights were sealed beams or not. Cause one of my headlings has a hole in it so theres a bunch of dirt in it so I was wondering if I could take the headlight apart and clean out all the dirt.
But since there is a hole and it still works shouldnt that mean there not sealed beams?
Thanks

What year 88-89 not sealed and 90-91 are sealed beams but it's glass so be careful not to shatter them.

My 90 Si has non-sealed beams. The bulbs come out the back of the lenses, just like they did on my previous 90 Si...

Yes, I am sure. Completely certain, as a matter of fact. Are your headlights the original ones?

I used a shop-vac with a piece of skinny vacuum hose taped to the vacuum hose to vacuum water out of it before. And the broken pieces of bulb that were caused by water splashing onto the bulb.

Perhaps the OP could look in a convenient on-line parts catalog (I know hondaautomotiveparts dot-com has one; I'm sure other places do as well) for the exploded diagrams that show the bulbs being separate from the housing. That would be a relatively easy way to verify that the HL are in fact not sealed beams.
