Default Is a 4th Gen prelude header identical to 5th Gen?

I have an H22 in my EF - and the donor prelude I got for the conversion had a 4-1 header on it. The 4-1 wont fit between the engine and the cross member - but a OEM 4th gen one will.
Now - I have someone with a 5th Gen prelude who would like to swap header's, but he (or I), aren't sure whether or not they are the same. Can anyone help?

no they are not, they will each fit the head the same, but 4th gen has a longer downpipe than the 5th gen header. so the exhaust will not meet at the right place if you switch em.

It's off a 4th gen - haha - I'll swap you for a standard one and you pay shipping!! I Live in New Zealand

Thanks guys - I think I might make up a new cross member for the clearance issue

Thats strange because i have a header and downpipe from a 5th gen in my 4th and the only problem i ran into was that the two bolts that hold the downpipe to the block didnt meet up but i fixed that with a little bit of metal work. Other than that it fit fine

^^^ I have about this much room - (it's an H22 in an EF civic)

Only just enough for two pipes going between the block and the cross member. That's why the 4-1 won't fit. Just needed to know if the 5th gen one would be as close to the 4th gen one as possible so it would work the same
