is the code i am getting. my question is, could this be causeing my car not to accelerate when it is cold? alot of times i can put the pedal to the floor and have no change in rpm or speed. the car just slowly comes to a stop. after a few seconds it kicks back in and runs fine the rest of the day. its beginning to be a dangerous daily routine. any ideas?

 

wow same thing happened to my friends truck the real problem was his spark plugs and wires. try checking that.

 

the code means that your cat is falling apart inside and it is not making your car run efficiently u need to change it for a new one that is the only way of getting ride of the code sorry to say cause they are not cheap, or not 100% sure but u may be able to get a test pipe and loose the code for sure it u get a new cat the code will be gone
