Default Need suggestions - Mounting a snowboard rack on an EG hatch

I'm going to mount my $20 junkyard rack on my eg.... permanently (weld it). It's designed to go into the front and rear door jambs but my hatch is obviously only a 2 door. What would you guys do to mount it? In the rain channel? One in the front door with the other mounted to the body?

The permanent roof rack is a requirement as the eg is my winter car and racket straps just aren't cutting it.

check Yakima's website-i believe they have some type of non-doorjamb mounts.

if you want to put the rear stanchions further back, there is no door jamb to attach it to.

Yeah, I want them further back. I am going on a 2000 mile roadtrip so I don't want any problems. I bought my rack out of a junkyard for $20. I'll probably just buy a different rack like Chris said.
