Default Prelude.... forum?

I will be purchasing a 1999 Prelude, hopefully by the end of next week. I have been referring back to this forum hopefully to gather more information about the car, and some problems that I should be expecting.

However, this 'forum' has very few threads, updated threads. Which can be a good or bad thing. Hopefully meaning that there are very few problems to share with the community, hence the seldom threads.

Anyway, I'm a former Accord owner, actually still am, but moving onto a Prelude. The Accord forums always have new threads, which I thorougly enjoyed.

Looking forward to getting my Lude. Happy readings.

Very few threads?

Honda-tech is one of the largest, if not THE largest honda forum on the web.

If you have a problem use the SEARCH function, because we have probably already covered it and put it in the archives.

Exactly. Read the FAQ's up top, there are a ton of resources to help you find what you need. IF, and only if, you can't find what you want, then post a thread about it.

I think he was referring to the PRELUDE forum specifically.....

SEARCH will be your best friend here and the FAQ's have tons of info.....
Theres not any stand out problems with Preludes unless you have a 97-01 Auto!
Everything from RECALLS to BOLT-Ons to 500whp H22 Turbo setups have been covered....

Yes, and thank you.

True, that it has been reviewed and published in the archieves, but I like reading fresh topics.
And thanks for the input.

We like to encourage searching....You also have to remember the ratio of Prelude owners VS Accord and Civic owners.....

There are plenty of prelude specific forums on the web. Between them and here you can search and find info on anything and everything in the book.

Not to mention alot of us have pretty much retired from posting new topics and spend our days answering newer owners questions.....
I couldn't even tell you the last time I started a new topic here....
With all the research thats been done.....theres no reason to waste money buying the wrong stuff.

You can be sure that anything you need to know is in the archives or you will find answers and help from members. I think this site is definately one of the best resources for preludes. If you liked your accord you are going to Love your Prelude.

Sorry for picture stealing, thanks in advance.

Yeah, tell him to leave everybody.... wtf guys. lol
With most issues the reason that there aren't a ton of new threads is because the topics have been covered arleady. If someone wants to know about clutches or flywheels, I guarantee you there is a thread covering it already.
Welcome and that is a nice lip.

what about Preludeonline.com?!?!?! You can pay $6/yr so the punk *** owner can drive a new Porsche 996 & Dodge Ram at age 21.
BOYCOTT Preludeonline.com
The owner is an arrogant punk......Yes, I have met him, chilled with him, and don't like him. No "E"-bullsh!t about that.
Oh, hes 24 now.....

S/N ratio on PO.com is much better though. Plus I'm a mod there.

Somehow I don't think $6 per user per year is going to buy a Porsche. Don't forget PO has probably less than 1/50 the number of people that visit H-T.com. Just sayin....

How many users signed up at $6 when he 1st started it? Maybe wouldn't buy a Porsche.....but its a fat down payment on one. Kind of ironic that he bought both vehicles around the time of charging.....

Not trying to insult you Billy.....Ive met you and hung with you and youre nothing like Dan......I just don't like Dan and his attitude......used to pick on kids like him in high School.
Notice I don't post there anymore......
Its not even about the $6.......We were told at NPM03 that Track Workers got FREE NPM shirts.....when I went to claim it, he was a snotty little bitch about it.
4yrs ago, I hit people for less........

You're bitter dude.

I think there's more money in the advertising than the subscription fee, but I don't know for sure.

BTW, I don't take it as an insult. I know you're a punk *** bitch Clint.

BTW, what tracks do you visit?

Hahaha.....always an advantage knowing that about me Billy.
Its not that I'm bitter, but 1st impressions last a lifetime........
What tracks do I visit as in what tracks have I raced on?
Gingerman-Michigan(My "HOME" track)
Grattan-Michigan(Yummy 130mph straight and VERY ADvanced blind turns with great elevation changes)
AutoBahn-Illinois(45min from home, tough to get track time at, but ~4miles of 23 turn goodness when both tracks are linked.)
BeaveRun-Pennsylvania(Love the elevation changes)
Gateway-Illinois(How could you not love a 7* banked sweeper)
Hallett-Oklahoma(Pretty technical and quick....Turn#9 is what its all about!)

I can say only good things about PreludeOnline...

It is a tad slow somedays, but the attitude overall of the community is by far the best of any forums I frequent.

and of course having Billy there to answer any/all questions is nice... -_-

Most of the members there are pretty nice......there surely isn't the flaming there like we deal with here.
If PO.com works for you.....run with it.
Having Billy there is probably what keeps alot of the older members around...He's the man!

Yeah, you're so far north of me, the only two tracks we've been on together is Hallett and GIR. If you like fast tracks, you'd like TWS. Not very technical, but quite a few fast corners.

I'd like to make it up to some of the northern tracks, but as you know, it's quite a haul.
