Default hey hotshot tuners how do you listen for knock

Hey tuners what do you guys do to listen for knock other than look at the plugs.. I have heard of people using tools for listening for knock but what do some of you guys use? Just curious

J&S works with coil on plug! but not CDI coil on plug =[

How many versions of the safeguard are out now? I just have the 1/2 channel import version with my stock ignition.

Oh, wait a minute, I shouldn't have replied to this thread..I'm not a hotshot tuner..

yea but my question is not for my car but for the tuners that tune diffrent cars on a daily basis..

Mase checked my plugs several times while tunning my car. I never noticed him using any tools.

A dyno and checking the plugs.

I wear ear plugs otherwise I'll go deaf at the rate that I tune cars.

And the only time I've ever heard knock on a car I was tuning was when there was a semi-clogged fuel injector. Tuning a car where everything is mechanically fine you shouldn't get any where near the point of hearing knock.

home-made det. can. Some copper tubing into some hose into a mic. into our laptop:D lol
