alright i have an 88 hatch. i notice under the hood while taking a glance that there is an alram on it. the control box for it is not there and the wires and plugs are still there. i want to remove the alarm setup to clean up the look and whats the point of having something there if its non working or functional? while i was tracing down all the wire i came to the point were it comes in with the igniton im guessing it was a kill switch. well there is two red wires that are spliced into one factory wire. i wanted to know if i disconnect these splices and reconnect the original wire am i going to screw it up? i dont know how to upload pics so if someone can help me its appreciated thnx

 

As long as the factory wire is intact and not cut in two pieces, you should be just fine removing the spliced wires.
