Shortening clutch pedal push distance?
I searched and looked through the FAQ section, but I couldn't find anything about this. Does anybody know about a mod (preferably a cheap on, lolol) that would allow me to have a shorter push distance on my clutch, and obviously without messing up contact pressure etc.
Thanks.
Thanks.

yea but hes not talking about that. hes talkin about shortening the distance from when the pedal is up to when it hits the floor, like the distance of travel before it hits the floor.
to my knowledge the only way to do this on a cable clutch is to come up with some kind of pulley system or somethin to attach to the top of the pedal itself, thus shortening the distance travled but yet making the cable pull the same length, or maybe move the pivot point of the pedal much like how a short throw shifter works

So, your solution is the have the clutch depressed a little the whole time? Having the clutch disengage at the top and at the bottom is basically the same thing... It just depends on what you prefer better.

hey guys, its funny i found this thread because i have a crx that has a clutch that engages real high which way do i have to adjust that screw so it engages closer to the floor?? sry for changing the subject
of topic a little, but what if you wanted to make your clutch pedel travel distance shorter in a 96 civic. I just put a short shifter in for the fun of it and now that i can move the shifter faster i want to be able to disengage the clutch faster. any help would be much appreciated.
