Default D16 knock sensor probs obd1 and 2...

well here is the start of my troubles... i bought the car used witht he swap already done.... i have a d16z6 block with a b16y8 head... the motor is running off of the obd1 ecu with the jumper harness, when i hook up the obd2 ecu the CEL comes on and when read says KNOCK SENSOR and MANUFACTURER CONTROLED IGNITION, i know what the ignition prob is... but the knock sensor is my issue, i know out there in the hundreds of civic drivers and tuners there is someone that can tell me how to add a knock sensor to this obd1 d16z6 block, or at least i hope... thanks guys for any suggestion about how to get this thing running better

Dude why are you trying to run it on the obd2 ecu if it runs fine on the obd1 ecu?

running on the obd1 ecu it has a slight miss to it... im guessing where the obd1 and 2 ignition systems are diff, so i try the obd2 ecu but it looks for a knock sensor... for some odd reason if none of the d's have knock sensors (according to 89efdusty)

If you have a z6/a6 block you should not have a knock, head "y8" does not matter concerning the knock.
I'm super confused with this post now
Running OBd2 on a non knock sensor equipped block
Just stick with OBD1 "best Diagnostic system to tune "
