Its a salvage title, I talked to the dude about it, I want to go test drive It this saturday, I just dont want to go down there and It looks nothing like the pics, also he never shows the front right side of the car, but shows everything else so Im gonna go check it out just wanted to see what other people thought aobut it....
^ That's smart... And if it gets stolen? Thennnnnnnn WHAT? You can only carry liability on a salvage car man, you'll take a complete loss, and be paying off that $14,000 for however long you had to make it, to make the payments affordable.
Be smart here man, don't do something stupid.
There are better CLEAN TITLE caRs for $14,000.

There are no other type Rs for sale in my area, I made a Topic askin anyone here if they have any for sale in NY, PA, or NJ anywere around those locations, but people tell me to look at the posts, and there are only cars from like Alabama, how am I gonna get taht car, there is one like 100 mi away from here for sale, and it has 59k on it but they guy wants 19gs, and there is no way im goin to pay taht much for that car, so if you kno anyone else who is selling ITR around here let me kno ill be really greatful
You're going to have to drive a bit to get an R, or wait a while. I waited for literally, about a year for one to come up for sale near me, I drove 4 hours out of town to pick heR up. Which is rather mild considering the distance most Type-R owners travel to get their Type-Rs.
why did you make another thread....
especially for one w/ a salvage title....
you asked for a low mileage R and I gave you a link to one of the cleanest Unmolested 97's out there.....
I sold my 2000 s2k to someone from NY.... He flew directly into Wilm. NC, I picked him up from the airport and then he drove the car back.....
You should be able to fly pretty much anywhere on the east coast for less than $250 and pick something up and drive it back....
That is part of the fun of it....

I have this feeling you should pass on an ITR for now. If you're in the NY/NJ area, you're in for really rude awakening if you become an owner. NJ owners have been chased and carjacked at gun point or at the very least, they've had repeated theft attempts. One NJ R ended up at the bottom of a lake. You really need to be fully aware of the high risks and financial burden an ITR will be for you. The insurance alone in the greater NYC area will prolly kill you. Nickel and three cents change....

^^^^Yea, what Joe said. Plus if you only want to buy because its close, you dont deserve and R. Especially if you live in Klepto-kapital of the world Jersey.
