The timing belt is determined by what water pump you’re using. The ctr crank pulley is smaller because at higher revs it will prevent your alternator from being overdriven. I have an itr pulley on my build and I had to use itr belts for all my accessories. Hope this helps. Good luck with your build.

uhhh dude your timing belt doesnt go on the crank pully it goes on the oil pump.

use whatever belt is mean for your car, the alt is adjustable.

He's right. the alt belt can be adjusted but it can only be adjusted so far. If the size of the ctr pulley is anything like the itr pulley, the LS belt will not work. It's too long even when the alt is pulled all the way out. This is coming from first hand experience, take it or not it’s up to you. good luck

I have a ctr pulley on my b16a swap in a 90 model ef hatch. I used a napa # 25-040292. It works perfectly. I had to roll it on to the crank just a little bit. But it fits great.
