rattle under dash in my ek.
so when i turn on the ac/vent in this ek i just bought a rattle occurs under the dash, under the glove box to be precise. anyone know what this part is called. never had problems with ac before. some people have said that i am going to have to remove the dash to fix it. any input appreciated.
Umm.. Something might just be lose? It is not hard to remove your dash. A few 10mm bolts here and there, and your good to go. (not to mention the steering wheel and the wire connectors)

You have got to be the first person i have even heard say the dash isnt a bitch to remove. Some of the bolts are very difficult to get to.

actually no it's not. the hardest part is probably dropping the steering column. there are only 6 bolts that hold the dash in.

as for your noise. sometimes leaves get caught inside there and just need to be cleaned out. you do have to remove the dash to do so. if you are skeptical about how hard or long it will take to remove, then just save it for the weekend.
