Default 15 or 16 inch rota gt3's on ef?

i cant decide on witch size gt3 too put on my 91 std hatchy, 15's or 16's. If i went with 16's what size tire would be best. Anybody have pics of gt3's on ef's?

what tire size would you recommend on the 15's? I have 195/55's on my gsr ninja's at the moment and they look like they are way too tall for the car

The proper size depends on your car, not just the wheels you are using.

For a CRX, del sol, or pre-'96 Civic, the following sizes are usually best:

13" - 175/70-13
14" - 185/60-14, 195/55-14
15" - 195/50-15
16" - 205/40-16</TD></TR></TABLE>

I've been pleased with the Rota GT3 15x7" +40mm on my CRX with Hankook RS2 225/45-15s.

I know everyone says 15s and that works. But I put 16" Konig rims on my ef9 w/205/45R16 tires and it works fine. I thought they would be too big for my car at first but I don't have any problems. Believe it or not I've heard of people putting 17" rims on. 16" is the biggest I would go though.

I like the look of your 16's, but with a 40 tire, isn't the ride on the bumpy side?

I am having the same issue with my car, 15 or a 16. I think it depends on the wheel. some 16's look bigger than other 16's. Here is my crx. these 16's were on the car when I bought it. I thought they were 17's at first.

these wheels look a lot bigger than the civic above. they have a 205 45 r16 on them. with the gt3, I'd go 16". btw, the crx doesn't look like this now, a build thread is coming soon. it has been de-riced.

well, I think if your going for all looks then 16's ,But if you want to look sexy and carry sumthin under tha hood then 15's. So, with that said either way 15's ;D

I have 205/40 16's on my 1990 hatchback. They are exactly the same diameter as the OEM tires. They are great, you just hae to watch out for big potholes and such. Also, I have put Wilwood 12.19" front rotors/calipers on with them. I had to cut the whel ever so slightly to clear the calipers. I used a brake lathe. Works great.
