im starting to have problems when accelerating. every once in a while i'll try to press the gass and it will not accelerate for about 3-6 seconds then it starts to pick up. what could be causing this issue?

 

any codes? Check your timing? Plugs or wires?

 

no CEL's, could my timing be off if its been running good for the last month? it idled great for the last 3-4 months but i just started driving it around and it happened to me once before but i thought it was my tank being low on gas. i still havnt changed my spark plug wires but my plugs are new. should i change those out?

 

ur cps censor..(crank shaft position censor), that is located in your distributor and if that is going bad or it already has, it'll do that, its puting your motor in save mode....so by that, you'll have to get a new dizzy or a another one..
