idk whats going on any ideas?

what OBD is the b16 and what OBD are you running it on currently? Is there any custom wiring done in the past that might be haunting you now?
If you need a new dizzy I'll give
to distributer king.

make sure u check all the fuses under the dash, theres one that if u read it, it sounds like it has nothing to do with spark but it does. its the one that says alternator on it, i think its number 14
the no. 14 fuse is good
my engine is a second gen b16 OBD-1 and my harness is a obd-0 but all the connectors have been converted. im also using a OBD-1 ECU with the conversion harness
as for the wiring when i bought my REX it had this alarm system on it witch i removed when i bouth an Audiovox alarm and the wierd thing is where my main relay is located near there. there are 3 Bosch style relays (square ones) and there running to the alarm system..
so idk if that has anything to do with it, .. but i checked those relays with my Meter and they seem to be operational..
sorry for the big post ima NOOB so only 5 posts a day

This used to posted on H-T, but he had to take it down unfortunately. Probably due to bs politics on here, anyway. This is all you probably need.

i dont think its the igniter cuz i OHMed it and its within limits.
but i just downloaded some CRX and civic Service manuels and im gunna follow one of the flow charts and see how that goes.. the only thing is its kinda confusing because since my wiring is all obd-0 and the engine and ECU are obd-1 i have to over look bolth manuels... so its real conflicting haha but IDK ima try it out

i went through the flow chart of a no start condition with the service manuel and everything is within Limits.. im at the last part witch is replace ECU with known good one.. now i need to find and OBD-1 ECU haha enyone wanna help me out? im in the Rancho Cucamonga Upland Ontario area.. **** ill throw in some ENDS if i have to i jus need to borrow one.. to see if thats tha prob.
if you have no spark, have you checked the rotor???
or is the wires even in the right slot???
may be the cap is worn??
and if you ohm tested the coil, i hope you know your suppose to bench test it,
because if you ohm test something thats hooked up to the computer, you could end up frying it
dont forget there is ckp and cmp going from your distributor to you ecu

ya the ckp and the cmp sensors in the distributer ohm out to spec. and the wires going from the distributer back to the ecu are all ok. this isnt a recent install its been runnin strong for like a year.
Make sure you don't have any fried plugs. My boys car had no spark because his dizzy plug(the one with the blue and blk/yel wires was fried and crusty. Test it with a test light
LOL its been hella long since i posted this thread!!!
BUT i wanted to close it out by telling you guys what was wrong with my REX LOL
it was tha ECU..
i finaly replaced the entire distributer and same prob
when i replaced the ecu with a known good one my car worked cherry!!!!
i later took apart tha bad ECU and found that one of the resistors to the wiring board thingy was blown up.. the master tech at a honda dealer said that with this ecu its common to do that under intence heat...
i was living in pheonix prior for 2 years so thats what did it i guess haha
well thnks guys..
oh and i no longer have my rex...sold for 4000
