I currently got a Jdm Type R in my Ek. I want to go K20 type R in the near future but i want to know how much I can sell my entire swap for! Engine, tranny, axles, ecu, and mounts for the ek?? give me your opinion guys??

 

look up a quote off of hmotorsonline.com, and go from there. This is not a technical question however...

 

hmo sells it for $4900 IIRC.

 

personally, if I were to buy that engine from you, I wouldn't want to pay as much as I would from hmotors because they'll replace parts/ deal with any problems I could potentially have from buying a used motor. You can't. Therefore I'd want to pay less than what hmotors charge, but either way, it'll probably take a decent chunk out of your K20 swap...(sigh)

 

sell it for around 4,000.

 

If it's an option you may try to get it sold while it's still in your car so the person can actually hear it run...that will make it worth a bit more to the potential buyer.

No i think he just meant the motor considering we didn't even see pics of said car.
