hey everybody. i installed 04-05 tails on my 01 coupe a while ago. however lately, the fuse for my tail lights (not brake lights) and dash lights keeps blowing. i replace it, but it just goes randomly. i checked my wiring job on the tail lights and everything looks okay, so what could the problem be? any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

 

didnt know the 04-05 lights could fit on 01-03's i like the sound of that

 

did you install oem 04-05 taillights or aftermarket?

 

Did you extend any wires during the procedure? Because that's typically what you have to do.

 

blowing fuses means u are drawing to many amps, or u have a short in your wiring somewhere, most likely u have a short to ground in the wiring if it does not happen right as u put the fuse in the that means that you only are shorting the wire over bumps or something, check all the wiring see if u have any bare wire showing that might be the cause

 

i think i'm going to install my original tail lights again, and hopefully that will stop the issue. that way i can point out whatever problem alot more easily. thank you all for all the help.
