will 88-89 door panels work on a 90-91 civic? and 4 door rear handles...
Yes that is the actuator, and unless you can get it for free (hurray!) you will have to buy it. They usually come in a kit, with two actuators a control box and a keyless transmitter.
Those are sedan rear handles. (or rover 214/216, or honda concerto or.. you get it). I have that same setup.
You could possibly use a honda doorlock (latch) with integrated actuator from a concerto, rover, civic eg, etc.. but I don't know for sure if it will fit. If so it would be inside the door latch and make the installation much cleaner.
If using the rear handles, also remove the rod that would connect to the handle keylock. I discovered that if let loose they would make those annoying noises...
