well i have a turbo crx and the other day i did a 4th gear pull let by choice shifted to 5th and then i noticed my mototr had a different pitch to it. i pulled the plugs they were black so i put new ones in and it still did the same thing. it smokes from the intake manifold area but i cant tell where its coming from and when im driving and give it half throttle it smokes but i cant tell what kind of smoke it is. there is no smoke coming out of my down pipe. im doing a compression check to night and see if its the rings or not. what do you guys think?

 

Forget the comp test, perform a leak down test and be sure it's not something else letting air in...
