Default Bride seats Brix II or Ergo II?

I decided to take some of your advice and get some better tracking seats in the R, but I wanted ones with the reclining ability because I am 6'6" and like to have a slight recline on my seat. I am also getting a autopower roll bar in the R.

Which of the two brides would you reccommend? I tried to find a difference in them and couldn't really find anything major. Also...what color? I think the red looks hott in a PY itr, but might be a bit too ricey?

just an FYI...rollbars/cages are not a good idea with reclinable seats safety wise

o really? never heard that before... hmmm sucks now I don't know if I wanna do that or not. I just don't like the idea of sitting so perfectly upright in the R. Maybe ill just skip on the rollbar and seats for now then.

Never heard that? really? It's the weak point in the design. Should you have an impact, that would be the place the seat lets go.

Plus ... Recaros are the best seats in the world .... why go Bride in the first place? With Recaro, you get a better seat, and your dollar goes further.

Those Sparco Evo 3's look nice, especially for a guy my size 6'6 250. What rails you run with them?

Toots... Me no thinks you'll fit in an SPG. I would say try a Pole Position. I'm 5'9" short and around 170ish with a waist size of JDM 32...

The seat is tight, but comfortable for me. Given your size/build I would opt for a little bit larger of a seat.

well the difference between the brix and the ergo is the bolstering on the sides, thighs, and shoulder area. the brix just has the most bolstering.

i think the brix 3 is out now though...

but for myself, i do use reclinables with my itr. even though i have an autopower rollbar, i have to admit that for a street car it helps so much to be able to use the area behind the front seats for storing stuff and reclinables can also tilt forward to help with that.

i have a brace that goes against the back of the driver's seat, to help mitigate the issue of the seat breaking in the event of a rollover.

for a car that sees more time on the street than on the track, I'm happy with reclinables.

i had my eye on the brix for a long time - also a great seat like recaro; but now i really want the GIAS LowMax!
