i need some help. my car wont start at all, it doesn't even crank up. when i try to start it, it sounds like when you try to start the car without stepping on the clutch. what's more the alarm goes off a few seconds after i try to start it and it doesn't sound normal. will make loud beeps then make a whole bunch of quiet ones. it even goes off if i turn on my head lights. i tried looking for the main box for the alarm and cant find it. anybody know where exactly it's located? please help!

yes it's my car. it's a 90 honda crx si. it won't start and alarm goes off a few second after i try to start it.

 

check in the underdash... just trace the starter wire from the ignition column. just sounds like the relay is disabling the starter. pm me if u need more help cause i don't wanna tell u how to disarm an alarm over h-t where thieves can find out.

ummm not enough power? your battery is probably dead

 

-to see if it is the alarm disabling the starter, try doing this, follow the battery down to the starter
-there is then a line that runs from the starter solenoid to the starter motor itself,
-you might need to take off the cap to get to the bolt
-this sounds retarded but use a meter screwdriver and basically put it on the bolt of where the battery cable positive ends, to the bolt of the motor itself, remember, just follow the line from the solenoid bolt, to the starter motor bolt under the cap
-basically that is just applying 12v straight to the starter motor and bypassing the solenoid so
-the key has to be turned to the accessories/illumination lights on the cluster
-be careful because there will be sparks but u should be ok
-make sure to have the car in NEUTRAL/PARK or else the car will start moving if its in gear and u will be in the hospital

this will work if you do it right

no i'm not the thief, although it does kinda sound like it. finally got the car runnin, had to disable the alarm and jump the battery. i guess the alarm went to **** on me. have to get a new one now. trust me if i was a theif i would be alot smarter
