HELP!! CAR WON'T START AFTER STALL
so i have an uphill driveway. I was entering the driveway when I stalled. Immediately my instinct was to start it up again, but it didn't start up. Out of nowhere I hear a beep (like the one you hear when turning on a car alarm). When I bought the car it had a Clifford Alarm, but the dude lost the on/off thing.
So I'm assuming the alarm turned on. The car won't start, but everything works fine (headlights turn on, auxilary lights turn on, cd player comes on) so it can't be the battery.
Should I just disconnect the battery and connect again. Or should I jump start it. Remember, the alarm is on.
HELP ME....HAVE TO BE SOMEWHERE IMPORTANT TOMORROW!!!!!!

So when you try to start it doesn't crank? If the alarm is armed and it has starter kill it will not start by disconnecting the battery. You have to find the brain under the dash and unplug the harness

Re: (Ninety5Ex)
there's a black box under the hood, near the firewall that says Clifford. Is that the brain?
I just went out to my car to see if it would start, and it did. About five minutes later I turned it off, then tried again. Car wouldn't start and the alarm armed itself...WTF!!

Re: (eg u y)
ok that black box was the siren....
Can you describe what the brain may look like. I tried to follow the wires and i think it led to two harnesses...one brown and one white. Should they have a clifford logo on it?

Re: (Kamin)
ok i reconnected the brain and everything. Tried to reset everything by disconnecting the battery..didn't work. Check the fuses in the fuse box...nothing. Tried to jump it..nothing. Can't be alternator..replaced less than 7 months ago.
It can't be the starter because i can hear it. The click and the airy sound.
I don't know. Car was running fine until about an hour ago. I stalled...alarm beep sounded...now i cant restart the car..omg
