I have a 1993 Accord Ex, it's a automatic. first off, my air condition doesn't want to work it blows out air but it's only the tempature of the air coming from outside so it won't blow cold air, i had a mechanic look at it and he said it was the compressor and it would cost $400 to fix it, i want to do it myself to save money and i really don't think it is the compressor because he only looked at it and didn't do anything else. Also when i go a fast and i turn a corner my steering wheel squeeks, and i heard that there is a chip that you can take out to make the car go faster, i was told that it's the chip that acts like a govenor for the car keeping it at a certain speed or rpm, i really don't know but if there is anything anybody can do to help me please reply

 

the air conditioning could possibly need to be recharged, look into that before buying a new compressor. and yes they are expensive. i believe the governor works only for high speeds, because i dont think you are going to be turning a corner too quick...not a good idea
