Civic vibration
Hi,
I have a Honda Civic 05 with 35,000 miles. Just recently, I noticed that the front end of the car starts to vibrate at 38mph. It only vibrates when I have the gas pedal depressed slightly. As soon as I let the gas go, or press on the pedal more, the vibration goes away. The vibration only starts at that speed/pedal depression combination. If I push on the pedal harder, the car accelerates quickly right past 38mph without vibrating at all. Any ideas what could be the cause of this? Thanks!

Sounds like its something to do with ur engine and its timing or fuel. Does it spark knock or anything like that? I know when your timing is too high on a chevy it will spark knock at certain speeds and usually around slower speeds about 30-40mph mostly when going up a hill or something that is straining the engine. Thats what it sounds like your problem is but not sure how to correct it on these things.

It's more likely to be a mounting or balance issue. I would recommend rotating the tires, and seeing if that doesn't change things.

Sounds about right... since I lowered my car and put different tires on the back rims (they were ruined if ya'll remember) I don't get near as much vibration aaaannnndd my ABS and E-BRAKE light doesn't come on when I go over 65 anymore.
