Took my car to the shop to see what was up with my car losing power. On the first Dyno run I had 152hp. This is bacis bolt on I/E/H. Then Ran it again no change 161 hp. When the shop tried to tuned the VAFC Vtech wouldn't come on. Took out the VAFC run the Dyon and got 163hp. Reinstalled the VAFC and then Vtech would come on when it felt like coming on. What do you thnk the problem is????

Umm, might be the VAFC, or your "VTECH"

 

I had that problem a while back where I reinstalled the VAFC and the VTEC would not kick in, then a week after I took the VAFC out and it kicked in once in a while took it to the dealer, under warranty, they replaced the Vtec solenoid. I put the VAFC back in and everything is fine and it has been for a few months now.

 

actually if u think about it, an integra type r has about 195-200 hp at the crank right? the rule is that there's a 15% lost in the drivetrain...therefore ur wheel horsepower should be around 166-170 wheel hp.
