Default the best way to paint your car yourself cheap? noob painter here

my black has been a little faded and i was wondering... which kind of black should i go for? example malt black or flat? or w/e u kno. and how would i have to do it rattle can? and what sand paper would i have to use. just give me what you guys know

The $50 paintjob will look like a $50 paintjob.

If you really want it to shine, just buy a good compressor for $250, and a good gravity feed HVLP spraygun for $50, and the actual automotive paint will run from $80 for single stage to a few hundred for base/clear....

actually if you look at aussie drivers paintjob that was only 40$ Its amazing, and Ive seen a lot of other very nice ones on that thread. Its not that hard if you do it right.
