Should I get a new gasket or would the original be ok? I checked the DIYs but i didnt know if it was necessary. Just want to make sure I only have to do this once.

If you have access to a new gasket, I don't know why you wouldn't go ahead and replace it.

Might as well man you wouldnt want to to go back and changed it because it got damage while you were replacing it.

 

I'm not sure I understand which gasket to get. They both show illustration number 1 but the number one isnt really pointing to anything. Plus, the part numbers are different. I'm not really lookin to spend $50 on a gasket either.
