Battleship grey paint
Going with Battleship grey for the interior of my race car, but I'm having a hard time finding anyone that sells it. Any ideas... and is it avalible in a spray can?
id also like to know. I want something that comes in both a can that can be rolled on and is also available in a rattle can. Right now im just looking at rustoleum and stuff like that.
so since im looking to roll this on, i need to get a color chip of the color, so i could have it matched in something that i could roll on. But i went to the sherwin willams auto paint store to get a chip, but they didnt have anything, although they did confirm that they do make the color. So any idea where i can get a sample?

Yes you can use por 15 in place of battleship, but it still is not battleship.
I highly dought the jsracing cars among many others are using por 15.
Just because por15 comes in a simmillar shade of gray, does not mean it is battleship.
Its originally a sherwinn Williams color.
So where do you get your info from?

Theres a reason behind having your engine bay ect. this color/product, Its easyer to spot fluid leaks, damage, cracking and mostly to protect from corrsion. Im almost positive J's racing doesnt use por15. but what they do use is similar. Our shop and many others have been putting por15 in the bays of race cars for years.
EDIT- battleship gray is a color. Dont get me wrong its a nice color but if your only going to paint the inside of your car battleship or engine bay to look like a RACE CAR then dont fake the funk and do it right. Or paint it with your walmart paint and save some paint for your racing stripes

ok, I always understand the reason for the color. The arguement was over the original color which is sherwinn williams "Battle Ship Gray", and not por15 which is used by many people regardless.
