Default Is this good paint?

I'm about to paint my car and am searching around for price quotes. For those that know about paint, can you tell me if this is good quality paint and if its a good deal?
Quote 1:
B92P Honda 3 Quart 26.40 79.20
Normal Reducer-LIMCO 4 2 Quart 12.40 24.80
Clearcoat LIMCO 4 1 Gallon 50.90 50.90
Normal Clear Hardner 1 Quart 48.75 48.75

213.83

Quote 2:
Urethane Acrylic 55 Line 3 Quart 112.20 336.60
Glassodur Reducer-Normal 2 Liter 20.30 40.60
CTR Clear 1 Gallon 175.10 175.10
Slow Hardner 1 Quart 68.15 68.15

651.47

Is the second quote that much better than the first? I want my car a deep black.

If you want a really deep black. The nicest I've done is with single stage.

As stupid as it sounds, it looks better to me and has more depth that a bc/cc job.

You don't have much in the way of information to tell you if your paint is good.

First one is a budget line of paint and clear so it'll be alright if you're doing a complete.

The 2nd one is like using PPG DBC. It'll lay nicer and would be more forgiving. Well in my opinion it is.

I hate using budget paints.

I dont agree that single stage will look better than base/clear, but it will look damn nice in a non-metalic color.... With metalic colors the single stage can look blotchy sometimes....

And if Im correct the B92P your using is nighthawk black pearl? Which is a metalic.
I like the Omni paint. Its PPG's economy brand. Just go for that. Should be a couple hundred bucks for base/clear all reducers etc.... Also I think a gallon of clear is way overkill I think 3 quarts would probably be plenty and in fact you might only need 2....

B-92P nighthawk is a pearl. Definately go base/clear.

Someone told me that the single stage isn't as durable. I don't want to have to repaint it again any time soon. Any of you use NH-547, Berlina Clear, if it looks better than B-92P? I want to make my integra a deep black. I seen one last week that look like it had a fresh paint job but the black paint on it looked horrible.

You've never seen a nice single stage black? It's the deepest looking black I've ever seen. Ask any painter on that.

That'll be a good idea for me to do a couple of weeks before I paint my car. Check out a few paint shops and ask their opinion and see if I can catch a freshly painted car. I'm not sure if I've seen a single stage, though.

I don't know, but I'll go back and ask. Is having a BASF product better?

omni is okay, it's an economy line and it's not the worst paint i've seen.

the omni clear in the other hand is not so great
