motor mount removal
hey guys i was wondering what is the easiest way to remove the upper drivers side motor mount without a engine hoist?? what steps do i need to take to do this?
im in college and currently dont have access to a hoist but need to get this problem fixed as soon as possible.
any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Just put a floor jack under the motor on that side.. take the weight off the mount, and remove the bolt holding it into the bracket.. then remove the 2 bolts holding the mount onto the motor..

No you won't. You simply have to remove the strain on the motor mount you're removing long enough to replace it. Be sure to use a flat piece of wood under the oil pan so as not to damage it.
