Default couple of questions?

Hi all I am new to the honda scene. I have an 89 civic dx 1.5 liter 5 speed. First question is are all d15 motors interchangable. I want to replace mine but my motor says d15b2. I have seen some online but they say d15b on it only.
Second question is what year acura will the rear disc brakes work on my honda civic 89. I have been to the local junk yard and found a few acura's complete with rear wheel disc brakes on it.
Thanks in advance to all

Basically yes. If your looking at the JDM d15's then they'll have vtec so you'll have to account for that, ecu and wiring etc. But as far as mechanics it will bolt up to everything you have already.

Ok so the d15b will fit from one year to the next. I dont have a vtec on mine.
Also what year acura's will the rear disc brakes fit on my 89 civic. They have several at the local junk yard with complete motors and rears in them. Anybody know?

Use the faqs and you'll find out how too.

Yes, the d15b is a 130 jdm motor. it'll fit in, you'll need to wire up vtec it's a simple swap.
