Searched First; Timing Gear Removal
F22A from '91 Accord
How is it done? Is there a special kind of tool that Honda makes? I've tried three different gear pullers and none will even come close enough to get tight on the gear to get set to pull. Help.

Theres a bolt that holds the pulley on. Remove the bolt and remove the pulley. If it wont come off you may have to remove the cam as the pulley was not meant to be pulled. It should just come off.
make sure the key is out first, if the woodruff key is still in theslot u will never get the gear out. sometimes they force the key in too and it gets stuck.
i had to cut the gear off on one of my customers cars once because the last person who installed it, put it in a bit cocked, so the key got forced in and stuck.
