Default Dynoed my Si today at ProStreet!

I believe my car did pretty good!

Mods: Intake, Header, 2.5" piping, & Hondata Reflash

The lowest hp run was because the sensor at the exhuast tip fell off.

Did you dyno the car stock to see if the money you put in was worth the power gains?

I didn't dyno my car stock..but I'm pretty impressed with my numbers....according to other's that have the same mods..they are getting 190s-197 hp...so if mines pulled 199 wooot i must be pretty lucky.

I thought the car would compensate for the mods and adjust the A/F ratio? I thought I read somewhere a car runs best at a 14:1 a/f ratio, so does that mean your car is under-performing compared to what it could do?

you want to be in the 14's for normal driving.

under load you want to be as close to 13.0 as possible. 14 underload is super lean.

that is a generalization...it varies between setups

14:1 air fuel ratio is for emessions purposes only...but performance wise you might wanna consider a 12:5 - 12:7 air fuel ratio or atleast close to 13's

What do you mean by "stock exhaust" with custom 2.5 pipping?

Blah. blah , blah.. just goes to prove that we are very close in numbers with almost the same setup. He also has the reflash

And I have seen plenty of dynoes that have expensive catback exhaust and header that you would think would hit WAY higher numbers and dont.
