I have one for sale, pulled t from my 1996 HX. It was vibrating when accelerating from a stop. The dealer said it needed a new start clutch $300 + $500 labor
I converted it to manual instead. (The 500 labor was so high because they had to remove the tranny to replace the start clutch)

I drained the tranny and the fluid was clean, NO metallic particles.

Not sure what the market value is for these things, I've seen them for $800+ on ebay.
I'll ask $120 OR BEST OFFER since it needs a start clutch.

Based on that, that's exactly what's wrong with mine. If I do my swap soon enough ill let you know.

Teal dx, did you make a custom tranny bracket when you converted to manual?

yeah, I cut & combined the CVT bracket and a bracket from the manual tranny. I have one ugly welded bastard of a bracket, but it works.

Mechanically, the swap was not much more difficult than your standard auto to maual swap. I have completed that part of the swap and it drives. Now I have numerous electrical issues to trouble shoot. main thing is the manual HX ecu uses a wideband o2 (5-wire) while the auto used a regular 4-wire. Those 5 wire o2's aint cheap
