I had LS's with 205/50/15 and never have problems of rubbing on my VX. I currently have Buddy Club P1's with 205/50/15 and doesn't rub. My car is lowered until there is no gap.

Do you have a camber kit? I don't and my tires are slightly cambered.

Put some negative camber (1-2 degrees) and you'll be fine.

aren't 50 series tires the proper size for 15's?
205/50/15

what kind of springs are you running?
got any pics?

wait you said they rub on the inside? do you mean on the fender or the inside of the wheel wells near the frame?

thi si a comparison of overall tire diameter
175/70r13 = 22.6 inches
195/50r15 = 22.7 inches
195/55r15 = 23.4 inches
205/50r15 = 23.1 inches
205/55r15 = 23.9 inches

how tire sizes work ex: 175/70r13
175 = 175millimeters wide
70 = 70% of the width equals the height of the sidewall
13= obviously the rim size lol

a 195/50r15 would make your speedo accurate
its 10mm narrower than your tire and 1.2" smaller in diameter

what are you rubbing on?

The stock tire size that Honda gives their 15'' wheels is 195/55

thats because on models that offered 15" wheels in a trim level had larger 14" tires.
96+ civics came with 185-65r14 and 195/55r15
92-95 civics came with 175/70r13 and 185/60r14

to the OP your tires are too tall. you can run 205/50 r15 but 195/50r15 would be the best for your speedo.
