Is it possible to put a 5th gen radio/cd player in a 4th gen?

if not where can i find a 4th gen stock cd player

yes i had this on my 4th gen b4.

 

so the wires just line right up and its not to tall?

I believe it can be done as long as the radio came from a pre 1998 lude. because in 1998 the wire harness' for all hondas changed over. your 4th gen should have the old style. and they are both double dins so it should pop right in.

 

honda changed the wire harness in 99, try getting a 97-98 stereo and it should work but not definitely sure on this one.

Soo all honda wiring stayed the same for all accord/prelude/etc models up till 1999? IF Sooo//// Im gonna try this

sweet... will try this. ANyone know how to take aparrt the 5th gen lude dash? I know how to take apart all the accords not this one.
